In my opinion.
There are not enough good Christian sites on the net and I personally would like to try and change that.
The motivation for building this site is two fold.
- I would love to use my talents to not only share the gospel my self, but also help other Christians and Churches learn how they can effectively reach people online.
- I want to continue doing something that I absolutely love doing, and that is, Discovering new ways of utilizing the Internet.
If you don’t already realize this…
(and I would be very surprised if you don’t), A website is a very powerful medium through which we can use to not only preach the gospel to the unsaved, (Acts 16:30-31) but to also use as a means within the church to stay in touch and communicate and minister to each other.
I personally know people who came to know Christ because of something they read online.
So it is my intention for this site to show you…
How to Build, Manage and Maintain your own websites, even if you don’t know anything about computers or the internet.
What you may find here is a lot of the content and lessons are about using a web software called Wordpress, this is the main software that I will be focusing on for a lot of our tutorials.
The reason I use Wordpress…
I use Wordpress because, It really can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be.
But also let me say this, there is a lot more to effectively using the internet than just having a website, and this is something that I will also be spending a fair amount of time on.
Just to clarify, I personally have never had any formal training, read any coding books, or studied any web programing language, but I have managed to learn quite a few tricks along the way that I can share with you, that will save you from making a lot of the mistakes I have made.
So to wrap it up.
iI your letting the technicle side of things stopping you or your Church from having a website, then I hope I can resolve that issue for you through this site.
