Building The Infrastructure…
As I continue to set up this site, tweaking plugins, customizing the theme and linking up my social media accounts etc…, I wanted to make sure I was going to maintain a regular input of daily posts.
In these first few days and maybe, weeks of posts…
I will be trying to lay a foundation for the overall theme of this site. Trying to share with you my idea of who I think can best benefit from the information I want to share, and why I feel so strongly about using the Internet as a facility for Christian fellowship and outreach.
The first steps to setting up a new site is always about planning and having a clear vision for the long term goal.
Initially I started building the site with the URL Global Evangelist.com but after a week or so of thinking about it, I didn’t think that it was the best option, seeing how the site is about teaching other people.
I thought using the plural was better in terms of branding and positioning my site as a service or resource for others and not being just about me or a singular person.
I am also going to be trying new and different things with the look and feel of the site, and because I am using the Hybrid Theme from Justin Tadlock for the first time, I am not yet totally familiar with how the theme works, so you may notice from time to time the site will look different or the site at times may even seem broken.
So if you find this happens to be the case, just come back in an hour or two, because it just means that I am working on the structure and code of the theme.
Oh’ and while I’m working on the site,
I’m also putting together a free report that will show you the exact steps on how to build your own website or blog, this will be a great resource if you belong to a church that doesn’t have it’s own website and want to build a site on a budget, or maybe you just want to build a blog for yourself, as your own way of sharing the gospel.
Whatever your motivation is, I recommend you sign up for the report and hopefully soon I will have it ready for you to download.
So please stick around and enjoy.

Hi Jeremy
I will be checking in with interest to see how this is coming along. I believe you have found your calling. This will be the must site to visit for all those evangelists looking to reach out to their congregation via social media.
Cheers
Kurt
